This is What Being Drunk Feels Like For an Anxious Teenager

Hormones going fucking insane

inside my body.

My lips lead me

to the one centric point

that is you.

Everything buzzing,

my brain blending

into a soup

that piles at your feet.

I’m broken down,

turned into nothing

but shapes;

Simple geometric figures

in two dimension

similar to the ones on

the bar floor.

Orange, red, and yellow;

the colors that remind me of you

scatter into the road

and are stepped on my drunkards,

shattering into pieces

like the pieces

of my broken heart.
